- from this quote i think you can really see who Abigail really is as a person. it makes me see that she plays a few different sides in the story going from innocent, to violent and than just crazy.

Yea this chick is crazy.I definitely agree, she seems to have fun instigating problems and such.It gives her such an ugly personality
I agree, Abigail is certainly the character that you want to hate. But as we continue to read, it's interesting to consider other perspectives.
For example, John Proctor was a much older man who should have known better than to have an affair with this young girl. Also, consider how disempowered young women were in this time. As a an orphan, Abby learned to look out for herself. There may be a lot of other people who can be blamed for what happened by the end of the play...
